I worked with the UX lead on developing a conversational design app that focused on helping people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) — not through drugs — but through a novel approach: empathy. We focused on how people might be feeling throughout the day, what could be triggers for their RA and how to possibly cope with their symptoms. Below is one of the many flows I worked on that anticipated different situations a user might be going through. Even if we couldn’t improve the user’s physical symptoms, we wanted to at least improve their mental well-being.
